Afitha P. Beeran is an Associate Partner in the firm. She completed her BBA.LLB (Hons)
from the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT, Kerala in the year 2015 and enrolled as an
Advocate with the Bar Council of Kerala in the same year. She further went on to pursue
her Masters in Maritime Law and Administrative Law from the School of Legal Studies,
CUSAT.
In 2017, she joined CAM Associates, Kerala as a full-time legal associate handling service
matters and other cases before the High Court of Kerala, Kerala Administrative Tribunal
and other Tribunals. She also worked as a Legal Analyst at Aptara Learning Pvt. Ltd,
Technopark, Trivandrum before joining M/s Callidus Legal in 2019.
Her area of expertise includes the Law of the Sea, Admiralty and Maritime Law,
Corporate Law, Customs matters, and drafting and reviewing contracts. She has hands-
on experience in prelitigation and litigation works, drafting writ petitions, written
statements, legal notices, arbitration notices, petitions, memorandums, reply notices
etc.
She is also an empanelled Guest Lecturer at the School of Legal Studies, CUSAT, Kerala.
